Our Story

What if playtime could shape a sustainable future as well as inspiring young minds? This was the simple yet powerful idea that sparked the creation of Phoenix Toys.

As parents, we were frustrated by the lack of alternatives to single-use plastic toys; toys that invariably have a short lifecycle and that invariably end up in landfills. We imagined a world where toys not only bring joy, creativity and learning but also take care of our planet.

Fuelled by our passion for sustainability and the magic of play, we have set out to change the toy industry.

Our mission

At Phoenix Toys, our mission is clear: to empower and inspire children and those who love them to protect our planet's future through play.

We believe every child should enjoy toys that are as fun as they are planet-friendly. That’s why we craft our toys from rescued plant-based materials, creating open-ended playthings that serve multiple purposes. And when the time comes, our toys can be returned, remade, and reloved, ensuring that playtime is as sustainable as it is delightful.

Our Design Philosophy

In collaboration with an award-winning product designer, along with children and educators, we design toys that ignite curiosity and foster a love of learning. Our focus is on STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics - ensuring each toy we create nurtures young minds and encourages problem-solving.

Our first creation, STAXX, is more than just a toy; it’s a tactile, versatile learning tool that grows with your child. STAXX engages children in STEM learning, stimulates problem-solving, and inspires discovery, all while being endlessly fun and adaptable.
